Keep score for quizzes, games and team points on the big screen. Tap +1, or press a team's number key, and the scores stay saved with your class for next lesson.

How to use it

  1. Choose how many teams you need, or use the teams you just made in the random team generator, with their names and members.
  2. Press +1 or −1 under a team, or use the keyboard: 1 to 9 gives a team a point, and Shift with the number takes one away.
  3. Press Present (or F) to fill the screen with the scores. The team in front is marked Leading, and Reset scores starts a new game.

Questions teachers ask

Are the scores saved?

Yes, when you've chosen a saved class: the teams and scores are stored with that class in your browser and come back next lesson. Without a saved class they last until you close the tab.

Can I use the teams from the group maker?

Yes. Make teams in the random team or group generator, then open the scoreboard and press the button to use the groups from the group maker. Team names and members come across, and scores start at zero.

How many teams can I have?

Up to 12. Two to six teams show large enough to read from the back of the room; with more teams the cards get smaller so every score still fits on one screen.

Can I control it from the keyboard?

Yes, which helps with a clicker or a wireless keyboard. Press 1 to 9 (or 0 for the tenth team) to add a point, and hold Shift to take one away. Typing in a team name never changes a score.

Can scores go below zero?

Yes, if you take away more points than a team has. Some teachers like it for penalty games; if you don't, just press +1 to bring the team back up.

Is there a sound when a team scores?

A short ding plays for a point and a soft low note for a point taken away. Turn sounds off under Teams and settings if you prefer a quiet board.
